An ebay listing template is essentially a website template that you can use inside of eBay. You design your website to look sleek and professional – you should be aiming to do exactly the same with an eBay template listing. If you went to a website which had a plain white background, and just had some black text on it, would you buy from it? I’m betting the answer is no, so why is eBay any different?
There are different styles of eBay listing templates, and you need to be careful where you buy them from. There are templates that have been coded in tables and others than have been coded in XHTML and CSS. The template you purchase should come with documentation that explains how to change and explains all the features of the template you have purchased.
