Need Money Making Ideas? Here Were the Top 10 Strategies For 2008
What does 2008 bring to the average American? Does it fill you with dread or with a promise of better things to come? If learning ten new ways to make money sounds like what you may be interested in, do read on. This article will highlight ten top ways that you can make money in 2008 to generate some extra income and hopefully one of them would prove successful for you to carry out on a more regular basis.
Firstly, start clearing your house and have a garage sale. If you are like most consumer minded people, you would find that your house has gathered lots of clutter and unwanted things over the last year and a great way to clear your house and to make some money from it is to sell it at your garage sale. If you are slightly more gutsy you can try opening an account on ebay and selling your wares there.
Secondly, start small and start giving tuition to your neighbour’s kid. Teach some simple things like English or simple low level maths. Some people have actually created industries around such teaching jobs so you might want to consider the extra income that you could make from this.
Thirdly, you might consider doing a newspaper delivery round via your bicycle and this might spark off larger ideas. Many important people started doing business when they were younger doing newspaper runs and got fitter that way. Skills that can be learnt in this endeavour include distance analysis and cost efficiency and time estimation all of which are great skills that any entrepreneur later might use in any trading endeavour.
Fourthly, you might consider making money online via forex trading or otherwise known as FX Trading. In this new year, you would want to start reading all you can on forex trading both in terms of trading strategy and also in terms of the psychology of trading. Most people generally can pick up the various fundamental trading and technical trading strategies necessary but it is always the psychology of trading that will trip people up. How many people can stomach a falling market and buy in that situation? This is what trading psychology is all about and is one key to success in online trading.
Fifthly, if you have decided online trading is for you, you might wish to examine the world of stock trading. This instrument deals with company forecasts and market psychology. You would have to learn how to read balance sheets, insomuch as to tell if the Company is doing well or not and thereafter learn technical analysis to determine what the trading public’s sentiment is with regards to the particular stock you are watching.
Sixthly, if you are risk adverse, you would want to learn the strategy otherwise known as index fund dollar cost averaging. Rather than putting money in a bank account where interest may be low depending on what bank account you are depositing in, fundamental analysis guru Benjamin Graham noted that after doing extensive back research all the way to the Great Depression, that investing in index funds on a monthly basis would yield returns that would beat saving in the bank and this is also known as defensive investing and is what I would recommend before taking any excess cash for active investing.
Seventhly, start examining your hobbies with an idea to profit. For example if you are interested in stamps, spend some time pouring over pricing guides and ebay auctions to learn all you can about what you are interested in and then start planning to become a trader of whatever collectible item that you are interested in. There are lots of collectors on ebay and this market is potentially huge. Who knows, you might have the next highly prized item lying around your house.
Eighth, as a variation of the above idea, spend some time gathering all your hobby related books and considering letting others know about your hobby by blogging. Making money by blogging in recent times has become rather fashionable with online blogging superstars that can be found by doing a quick search on google with the search terms “Pro blogger”. Making money by blogging requires some planning of content and site structure and this planning phase is critical to the success of your blog. Learn what niches are ripe for the picking and avoid niches where there are too many competitors.
Ninth, if you are a consultant or make money via the provision of services, a critical technique to making more this year is to start spending time giving free talks in your locality to trade associations and bodies and helping them along with their activities. Above all these promotional activities, the key to making money with the provision of services is to develop trust with your customers at the same time you do work for them.
Tenth, if you are not in the habit of tithing, start the habit of giving money away to the poor. People gain a sense of fulfillment when giving to their church, their charity and it is this sense of fulfillment that drives rich people like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to make more money. Joy, peace and fulfillment are things which cannot be bought with money, but can provide the unseen impetus to propel you to greater financial achievement.
In conclusion, I hope you have benefited from this ten tips to make more money in 2008. Powerful ideas only materialize when combined with action now! Carpe Diem and here’s wishing you all the best in this new year.

Internet Business Ideas ? Do You Need Quality Or Quantity
Internet Business Ideas ? Do You Need Quality Or Quantity
So the internet business ideas must bring money to you. But there is one even more important feature, which they must fulfil. They must fit to you, your style and experiences.
And you better like the internet business ideas, which you are going to promote. If you will type the keyword internet business ideas into Google, you will get a lot of all kind of ideas. If you ponder, which of those will fit to you, you may surprise. If you really use your feelings too, you will see, that not many are good ones.
1. How To Define A Good Idea?
It is all up to your own mind. You must have an understanding about, what you want. It would be better, if you would have a business plan and you are searching ideas to execute that plan. Now the selection process is easier. Your internet business plan is your guide and what is needed is to use your feelings in the selection process.
2. How To Know If The Idea Will Sell?
To know the future in advance is difficult. But you can get tips from various sources. One good source of assurance you can get from the marketing forums either from the posts or by asking directly. Or you can visit the sites of the best known marketers in your niche. Or you can look at the stats of the best sellers of some affiliate program, where you are in.
3. Is One Idea Enough?
A successful internet marketing needs a lot of different ideas about the affiliate programs, promotion methods, site building etc. An effective marketer reads regularly the best forums and will follow the sites and blogs of the most respected marketers. That is the way to guarantee, that the information will be state of the art.
4. Does It Have To Your Own Idea?
The idea is not everything. It is just one element in the marketing process. Even a bad idea, which is executed well, can bring good results. If you have your own unique idea the better, but the more important thing is, that the target group evaluate your offer so useful, that they are willing to buy. Actually very few people know, who has invented some idea.
5. When To Change The Idea?
Even the best ideas become obsolete some day. The best sign is that they will not sell any more. But most of the ideas are very difficult to follow. How you know, if the copy of your site is not working? To be honest, it is only your evaluation that matters. But one thing is sure. The quality beats always the quantity. The Net is so loaded with information, that to be able to stand out from that crowd, you have to produce quality content, and only that.

Top Travel Packing Tips ? Bring What you Need But Travel Lighttop Travel Packing Tips ? Bring What you Need But Travel Light
Top Travel Packing Tips ? Bring What you Need But Travel Lighttop Travel Packing Tips ? Bring What you Need But Travel Light
Use a great travel packing list as a key to a low-stress and happy vacation or business travel trip.
With the web there’s no excuse to not use a great travel packing checklist to speed your travel packing and ensure enjoyment. Packing correctly – bringing just what you need, but not one iota extra – can lighten your physical and mental load. By carrying less you’ll move around easier, yet the trick, of course, is being sure you haven’t forgotten anything essential.
Tip #1: Leave home and office in good order. Make sure your home is all buttoned up before you leave and that pets and plants will be taken care off. Leave keys with a neighbor so they can access in case of emergency, empty your refrigerator and stop routine deliveries. In the office, nothing supports a successful trip than a clean desk and empty email in box – schedule a few hours of blocked out time the day before your trip to catch up on all urgent office matters.
Tip #2: Make packing easy by using a great travel packing checklist. There’s no excuse for not using a travel packing list to make sure you don’t forget anything essential. You can use a web search engine to search for ‘travel packing list’, ‘travel packing tips’, or ‘travel packing checklist’ or see the end of this article for a link to my favorite printable travel packing list. Find one you like and print it out. Use it religiously.
Tip #3: Bring the bare minimum. Nothing adds to stress and tiredness on travel like having too much and too heavy of a luggage burden, especially on airline travel. I always recommend that, once you’re all packed, try carrying all your luggage for 5 or 10 minutes – say around a city block. This begins to simulate the short hauls you’ll have on your trip. After your test haul, you’ll be motivated to lighten up. Find items you can do with out.
Tip #4: Learn and improve. As you use your packing list have a system for marking it up. You might cross out any items that you didn’t bring, and check marks next to the ones you did. No, here comes the critical step – bring the marked up printout with you on your trip. During your trip, if you find you need something that you didn’t bring, note it down on the list. And, just as importantly, at the end of your trip take a moment and find those items you brought, but that you can live without next time – and cross them out. As your packing list gets dog eared and marked up, consider typing it into your computer so you have your own custom list (you don’t have to type it in from scratch, just select and copy the original web list you started from and paste it into your word processor – you can then start editing this complete list).
That’s it – travel light but without out missing any essential items. Use your travel packing list religiously and hone it constantly.

Need A Beginners Guide To Affiliate Marketing? Here’s The Cliff Note Version
Need A Beginners Guide To Affiliate Marketing? Here’s The Cliff Note Version
Like anything you want to get really good at…affiliate marketing may take away some of you spare time, but it can really pay off in the long run.
So why not start with step #1?
Your first step…in ANY business is to find a hungry crowd to serve. Most failures that I’ve had and that I see other hard working folks make is not having a crowd that wants what you’ve got.
Follow me?
Okay, so what do you do when you find this hungry crowd?
You feed them, right?
For example, a guy or girl that has been dumped and left heartbroken…this is a “hungry crowd”.
Why is this a “hungry crowd”?
Because these people have a problem, a problem that they think about probably several times a day. (I call this mind share.)
As a successful affiliate it will be your job to help or “feed the hungry crowd” by connecting them with a product that solves their problem.
So take what you’ve learned and do some brainstorming and think of a “crowd” you can “feed”.
Now the next step is going to be finding a good match…a product or service that will help solve these problems.
Just about any website that sells anything has an affiliate program (which you can usually find at the bottom of a sites home page) or you can always go to a site like Clickbank and register to sell their products.
Okay so you’ve got your “crowd” and you’ve got you product…now we need to connect the two.
This is where a lot of people get frustrated because it involves a few different time consuming parts.
Probably the most confusing part for most beginners is finding low competition keywords that they can use in there article or ad to get the ranked on Google, Yahoo, etc. because that is how you get traffic (views) to the product you’re marketing.
So here’s what you do:
Go to Google
Type in ‘Google Keyword Tool’ and click on the first result which should be https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Now I want you to type in a problem that your hungry crowd might have and then write down any 3 to 5 word keyword phrase that the keyword tool lists and checking out the competition and search volume.
I know that you’re a beginner and you’re doing great so far!
Now you’ve got your crowd, your product and your keywords…time to do some matchmaking and/or pre-selling.
This is where you do a simple ‘warm up’ to the product or service you found that will be helpful to your reader. Now if you’re fretting because you don’t have the best writing skills, here’s what I want you to remember: You have a leg up because you are writing to a hungry crowd and all they want is a ‘real’ person to give them a hand and not a literary masterpiece.
Okay? You can do this!
If you don’t own a website or want to buy one…you can always but up a free blog at www.blogger.com, Post your articles right on your blog and because Blogger is owned by Google, many times you’ll get listed in the search results right away.
Your hungry crowd will search Google for the problems they have, find your blog and if you give them a helpful article, they will buy through your recommendation and affiliate link.
